About the Presenters:
Christopher Gergen is a founding partner of New Mountain Ventures, an entrepreneurial leadership development company. Additionally, he is the co-founder and chairman of SMARTHINKING, an online tutoring provider. He also served as Vice President of New Market Development for K12 Inc. and Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for New American Schools. Christopher Gergen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, a Master’s in Public Policy from George Washington University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Gregg Vanourek is a founding partner of New Mountain Ventures and former CEO of Vanourek Consulting Solutions. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of School Development for K12 Inc., an online curriculum company. He also served as Vice President for Programs, the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation. Gregg Vanourek holds a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College, an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics.
