When evaluating job applicants, do you do a Google or Facebook search on them?


HR Weekly poll participants are split on whether it’s appropriate to conduct online searches to learn more about job applicants. While 37% say legal worries prevent them from doing so, 40% say they look up applicants at least occasionally. Learn about online applicant screening pitfalls to avoid.
