Accommodate pregnancy-related restrictions

Pregnant employees may develop complications that temporarily affect their ability to perform their jobs. Some employers mistakenly believe that because pregnancy and most related complications are transient conditions, pregnant workers don’t qualify for reasonable accommodations under the ADA.
