Lucas, an outspoken critic of DEI, named EEOC chair
President Trump on Jan. 22 appointed Andrea R. Lucas, an EEOC commissioner since 2020, to serve as chair of the EEOC. Lucas has made a name for herself at the commission for her outspoken criticism of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, which she says foster “widespread, overt discrimination.”
